A Visitor to Aeolia

From a prince of Aeolia:

It was a wonderful day on the island of Aeolia. It simply went just as every other day with us, just floating all around the ocean. Everyone in the city was walking around taking care of their daily chores and tasks. Then all of a sudden the sirens went off, signaling we had visitors. Everything then turned to panic as all the people rushed to prepare for the visitors. I immediately went to get my wife, who if I have not mentioned, is also my sister. I found her by the fountains and informed her of the news, and we went to our father to help welcome the visitors.

Soon after we arrived at the cliffside, we watched with our father as eleven ships crashed onto the shore. The strangest part of all this was that out of eleven ships only one man stepped onto the island. We sent down the basket, and he climbed in, and we brought him up. After he had been raised to the top he introduced himself and was immediately recognized for his great feats of bravery. We were standing in the presence of the great Odysseus.

After the introductions had been made we invited the guest to dinner. After the feast everyone began to head for their beds to rest for the upcoming morning; however Odysseus stayed awake and told stories of his adventures and kept us on the edges of our seats. After a night of fun and conversation, our father took Odysseus to present him with a great gift. He gave the great Odysseus the bag of winds that had been confiscated from the sea god himself, Poseidon. After the gift had been given, Odysseus went back to his ship and sailed away the next morning.
